I was learning Rust when I got the idea to train myself by making a Minecraft launcher, and this is what came out! Rust was the perfect choice — blazing fast, memory-safe, and lets me squeeze every drop of performance out of the system. Combined with Tauri, we get tiny binary sizes, secure native windows, and the ability to use web technologies for parts of the UI when needed. Waaaayyyyyyyy more efficient than Electron or Java-based launchers!
