Originally built with Tauri, the UI was prototyped in Slint before migrating to GPUI (Zed's GPU-accelerated UI framework) for a pure-Rust, native experience. No web views, no Electron — just compiled Rust rendering directly to the screen via wgpu. All UI pages have now been migrated from Slint to GPUI.
